Breakthrough Breast Cancer
A very big thank you to all the members of Robin Hood Societies who contributed the handsome sum of £100 towards my fund raising target during the weekend of the 60K Aviva charity walk in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer. It was a special moment to be met by John Cairns on the first morning on a canal bridge in Solihull Lodge and be handed the cash, totally out of the blue. Thanks for that, John.
In all over 600 walked and together we raised over £1.3 M which will go towards research, education and eventually finding a cure for this terrible disease.
You will see the photograph of me finishing the walk with my new friend Mike who lost his wife 2 years ago to breast cancer. We may look okay but it hides the sore feet and aching legs! However, the whole event was one of the most uplifting experiences of my life and I can only thank you all again, not forgetting my fellow MUGS who all gave so generously before the event.

I am able to edit the site and all you need to do is to send me details of what you want to go on your page to jwcairns01@yahoo.co.uk. I can accept photos in any format ( .mpg prefered) videos are usually .avi music is only mp3 format Any advice required please contact me at the above.
